Was just walking around in a daze in cube land at work and Len said, Hey we need a
bass player. Of course when I met Todd I was star struck and hooked. Have been
having a blast with these guys. In my days of bouncing around playing music, the guys
that I am playing with now is just a great mix of fun and dedication to being the best we
can be. The feedback from friends and others I have met at shows just reinforces my
feeling that this a good thing, that I hope keeps rolling.
Was kind of dark in Kurt’s basement when we started, thank goodness we made it past
the audition and got to the garage. I have to believe finding Don put us over the edge.
He brings a backbone we needed so much. Len’s voice just brings everything to the
brink, and his down home interaction with all just makes it work. Todd and Kurt’s working
together fills the bill. Glad to be a part.
Prior to that spent some time working with jam bands and Kicker band rocking out rock
county Had a great time and made the transition from Guitar to Bass. My wife Brenda
and I enjoyed bring some smiles and good times to all that came out. Brenda passed
away in 2001 and I lost some interest. Thanks to the Decades Rock Band for bringing
me back.
Prior to that did a lot of playing in high school bands. One of my big memories is playing
against what was to become Rainbow Bridge in talent shows. Of course we always
finished second, but appreciate the inspiration.
Currently me and my wife Sheila (video/photo’s/designated driver) are having a great
time. Thanks to all the friends that have made this a special time for me personally Let
the good times roll.
